Our Melody Mill Mission
To build confidence, communication, and opportunity through music, voice, and creative expression.
Our Values
A world where every voice is heard, every talent is valued, and every person has the opportunity to thrive.
Our Founder & Director

About Zena
With more than 30 years of experience in education, leadership, music and vocals and inclusion, I have dedicated my career to helping children, young people, and adults discover their strengths and achieve their potential.
My professional journey has included senior leadership roles across schools, alternative provision, and specialist SEND services, where I have led curriculum development, quality improvement, and innovative programmes that put people at the heart of learning. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about creating environments where every individual feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.
Melody Mill CIC was born from the belief that songwriting and creative expression can be powerful tools for building confidence, communication, emotional wellbeing, and life skills. By combining music with structured learning experiences, I aim to provide welcoming spaces where participants can explore their creativity without fear of judgement, develop new talents, and celebrate their unique voices.
Whether working with young people, adults, schools, community groups, or organisations, my mission is simple: to create opportunities that unlock potential, nurture resilience, and empower people to tell their stories through music.
At Melody Mill CIC, every lyric matters, every melody has meaning, and every person has something valuable to share.
